What
a "good & faithful servant of the Lord" for (32) years, a
"true American hero," & a "good & decent human
being." I
cannot think of anyone that I have known in my (63) years that has touched more
lives than Fr. Dennis. He was truly an amazing individual with charisma; no one
in my lifetime will ever & ever be able to compare with him.
There
is absolutely no doubt in my mind that on the morning of 9/10 the good Lord
wrapped His arms around Fr. Dennis & welcomed him into Paradise at His
heavenly banquet forever as well as commanding him as Cmdr. Dennis J. Rocheford
(USN) to guard the "pearly gates" forever!! It
was extremely difficult & painstaking to say "goodbye" BUT we all
know that he is FINALLY "at peace" with the Lord which he so richly
deserves; no more "inner demons, pain, nightmares, torment, etc." to
deal with on a "daily basis." No
one will ever know what this man experienced & had to face "head
on" since he enlisted into the United States Marine Corps right out of high
school in 1967. May
he "requiescat in pace" forever & "Semper Fi", Padre!! Jim
